Neil Francis

Neil Francis is best known as a professional vocalist who regularly entertains audiences across the UK and, in particular, East Anglia. Backed by his own powerful sound system he performs a wide range of pop, rock and electronic songs from the last 4 decades, including some musical theatre and current chart hits.

In 2014 a video of Neil's impromptu London underground singalong of 80's hit 'A little respect' caught the attention of the world's media and scored a 'viral' hit across the internet with over 40 million views and counting! This led to him being invited to perform at pop duo Erasure's 30th anniversary party where he was surprised to be joined on stage by Erasure frontman Andy Bell to duet with Neil on 'A little respect'.

Television and news appearances also followed: Channel 4's 'Rude Tube', Anglia News, ITV news, ITV's 'Caught On Camera' series, BBC world news, and the joyous tube footage was chosen 'video of the year' by DJ Steve Wright.

Neil's 2015 debut single with Shelter "Connected (put your hands up)", and accompanying video filmed solely in Great Yarmouth, continues to bring Neil favourable attention from across the globe. With further singles and collaborations with electronic acts and artists including Johnny Normal, Daysound, Real Experts, LorD and Master, and Circuit3.

Now Neil has turned his talents to Presenting and is looking forward to sharing his passion for electronic music with his listeners. Featuring familiar, new, and undiscovered artists from all over the globe he guarantees 2 hours of the freshest and best electronic songs and sounds. Fans of established and well-loved artists ERASURE, DEPECHE MODE, OMD, YAZOO, ALISON MOYET, MESH, HURTS, THE HUMAN LEAGUE should give 'The Electriq Show' a listen. TUNE IN, SYNTH OUT!!
